In the 1960s, Aquadive emerged from a crowded field to become the choice of serious ocean explorers, thanks to developments like one of the first 1,000-meter rated watches and the integrated depth gauge. Around the same time, Poseidon Diving Systems became another trusted leader, introducing the first single hose regulator, and developing a sealing system for cold water diving. Poseidon, fittingly named for the ancient God of the Sea, remains one of the best known and relied upon brands of diving equipment.

Tailor-made for globetrotting adventurers, the Aquadive Poseidon adheres to the design codes of Aquadive’s best-selling Bathysphere 100 GMT – a markedly capable dive watch with 1000 meters of water resistance and dual time zone functionality, albeit one in a highly wearable 43mm by 12.5mm thick stainless steel case. Poseidon’s signature yellow livery lightens the 24-hour ring that encircles the perimeter of the dial, complementing the Swedish brand’s heritage logo at 9:00. The watch is fitted with an ISOfrane strap – a soft, yet markedly durable ladder-style rubber strap that sheds water quickly, and can be easily fitted over bare wrist and  wetsuit alike.

Only 300 pieces of the Aquadive Poseidon dive watch will be produced. The watch has a full retail price of $1,890, but it can be pre-ordered with a 25% discount for $1,395. Those who pre-order will pay $395 upfront, with $1,000 due at delivery and will receive an exclusive Poseidon mission patch, as well as two ISOfrane rubber straps: classic black, and Poseidon yellow. Estimated shipment of the Aquadive Poseidon is November, 2019.
